Good one!

Nice take on the movie

Although I found the movie as well as 'Jai Ho' good ... nothing more than that(more so in case of ARR, who has given much better scores in 2008 alone!)

Meanwhile, I wonder how the people would have reacted when 'Gandhi' was winning awards!Nikesh Rathihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02208012080532357303noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34157134.post-13112392069561203272009-03-06T14:44:00.000+05:302009-03-06T14:44:00.000+05:30Even I was wondering, why there is so much critici...Even I was wondering, why there is so much criticism about the way movie potrays Mumbai slum....
It is just like, some people don't want to see reality...
"it may not be Rahman’s best composition till date".... The western mind found Slumdog and its music fascinating- thats it. The Oscar should in no way be considered a yardstick in judging our movies/music.
At the same time, fully agree with your observation that we have very good reasons to be happy that a film on India with Indian music has attracted global attention. :)Arvindhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02659741979227681586noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34157134.post-75674803779813387772009-03-03T10:26:00.000+05:302009-03-03T10:26:00.000+05:30@ Pradeep --> Did not notice it until u pointed...@ Pradeep --> Did not notice it until u pointed out ;) but thanks anyways... that's what's called a fluke i guess.. :PAishwarya Ananthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06257635369592094305noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34157134.post-68821162539766619922009-03-02T22:18:00.000+05:302009-03-02T22:18:00.000+05:30There seems to be a managerial touch to the articl...There seems to be a managerial touch to the article :).
